Such an awesome day, guys. Seriously.

fedzgurl91 stayed with me and we had epic times with karma_static_tk on Saturday night! This morning we got up ass early and headed over to Kettler to meet up with like a million and a half people. It was so awesome! Melissa, both Heathers, Becky, Jess, Becca, Katie, Maria, Molly, Tracy, Kim, Jessica, Vicky, Jacque, Erin & Kathleen are the ones I can remember, anyway.

Then Molly and I went back into the locker room to interview some of the players.

That was definitely some of the most fun I've had lately! And so totally worth it! So far we've got, Sloaner, Lainger, Finley, Brads & Beags, with (hopefully) more to come on Wednesday when Becca returns to watch the final scrimmage of the Duchesne Cup with me!

Pictures will be up on Caps In Pictures before too long. I'm taking my time this afternoon. :P

I want to pet and cuddle my beautiful CapsCon ticket. Because it is the shit. AND the STH packages will be showing soon. <3 I will take pictures of it again like I did last year and post for everyone to see! I can't wait to see what they do with it this year!!!

The epicness that is going to be the next month of my life is AMAZING!!! <3 First, Molly's coming home for the first day of Rookie Camp!!! I am SO EXCITED TO SEE HER AGAIN! AND AND AND... she is taking a page out of Jessi's book and bringing a special surprise for Joe Finley. I will post pictures when it all goes down.

And then, of course, a full week of Rookies. <3 I can't wait to see my boys again. I've got a few things that Holts wants that I need to pump out in the meantime (THANK YOU BRAND NEW PHOTO LAB QUALITY PRINTER!) and I've got to finish up Kim's stuff.

So Monday's epicness will include lunch with Becca, Molly, Kim, Tracy & whoever else we pick up along the way!

Then... THEN!!!!! Saturday!!!!!!!! <3 Molly will be coming back down and we will be going to Media Day with Becca! I am SO EXCITED. AND NERVOUS. AND EXCITED. I can't decide! That night, I will be meeting up with the lovely Jessi to have a great, fun night. :P

SUNDAY WILL BE THE EPIC DAY OF ALL EPICNESS!! Heather & Melissa will be coming down to join Molly, Becca, Kim, Jessi, hopefully Jess(?) & I for THE FIRST DAY OF TRAINING CAMP! <3 HOCKEYS FTW!!!!

And then, of course, the preseason games! <3 I've got someone coming to me with all of them so far and I am SO EXCITED. Its REAL hockey. FUCKING REAL HOCKEY!!! <3 Even if it doesn't count yet. :D

And then its CapsCon!!!!!!!!!!! <3 God I can't wait! Molly and Jessi are both staying with me and we are going down there EPICALLY early to hit up the Equipment Sale and find something that Molly wants. And maybe something that I want. And I do believe Becca put in an order for it, too. :P

That night we'll likely wind up celebrating Melissa's bday, too. Which will be all sorts of awesome. And Marc's birthday is that day, too. Its going to be such an awesome fucking month, guys.

My life, let me tell you about it! It has been the best thing ever since July. Everything is going my way. My friends are seriously the SHIT. And I'm really loving life. <3 I hope you all are having just as great a time!

I've spent all morning trying to deal with the Federal Gov's job site. UGH. What a headache.

For those who haven't heard, my sincere condolences to Jose Theodore's family. His son has passed away, according to reports. ETA - The Caps have confirmed the reports.

I'm not sure how to transition from that, but I'm looking forward to the beach. It's going to be nice to get away from it all for a while. After beach, I've gotta go shopping for some new work clothes. Everything I own is currently two sizes too big. How's that for a large dose of awesome?

I'm really looking forward to Rookie Camp starting up. I'll be there on the 7th with the lovely ovielove , and then the rest of the week with whoever else I know comes out. Likely Kim and maybe Jessica. Anyone else showing up?

And then, of course, the start of Training Camp on the 12th, followed by the get together at my place where we will have much fun!

Oh, and for those of you who haven't heard, there will be Hockey Bowling fun on Sept 6th at Bowl America on Edsall Rd in Alexandria. You should all come out. Its going to be a lot of fun. It was Tracy's idea, really, but they made me plan it. >.> If you want more info, let me know. The invite is currently making the rounds on FB.

To help you beat the no-hockey summer blues, I've got some Caps In Pictures goodies lying around that I need to get rid of so I have room for new things in the new season.

The majority of what I have are postcards, but if I like you enough, you may get something extra thrown in. :P At least until I don't have anymore left.

Currently, my stock includes: Chris Clark, Mike Green, Sami Lepisto, Nicklas Backstrom and a VERY LIMITED stock of Tyler Sloan.

Want one/some? Here's what you have to do:

Go out and buy a padded envelope - approx. 9x6. You can get them cheap at Wal-Mart. Self-Address it, throw a few stamps on it, and put it in another envelope. PM me for my address and send it to me! I'll send you back a happy little package! Alternatively, you could send me some stamps and a dollar and I'll go out and buy you an envelope.

Hi Guys! ^.^

I know I don't come around too often anymore. I've been taking a semi-break from the online world.

Been working hard this morning in my place to hang some things. I gotta finish getting my artwork, etc up if I'm going to have a get together during camp. Mark your calendars now, folks. Sat, Sept 12, following the first day of Training Camp. Get together. My place. I'm only about 10 mins from Kettler. It'll be BYOB, and likely some sort of potluck. BUT WE WILL HAVE FUN! :D

Let's see... other than that, its getting to be the end of Goalie Week on CIP. You should totally check it out! Today was the one and only Stretch! :D

Oh! And I went to the Caps' STH skate last night and won a Brian Pothier prize pack! I almost never win anything, so that amused the hell out of me. It had a signed picture, along with a bunch of Caps swag. I've already got the blanket pulled out and on my couch.

AND!!! My birthday weekend this year is going to be SICK. Keep it in the back of your mind now. March 25, the day before, the Caps play at home. March 26, 27 & 28 - HERSHEY TIME!!! I am seriously going to plan an epic trip, which may or may not involve the rental of a suite at one of the games. :D
